The Sales & Business Development Manager will work closely with the Executive Producer to coordinate and integrate contract requirements with business operations. This position will be responsible for locating and proposing new business deals by building and maintaining ongoing relationships, contacting potential partners, exploring opportunities, and networking. The ideal candidate will screen potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, financial return, and potential for company growth.
Due to the client-facing expectations of this position, it requires the utmost level of professionalism, communication skill, customer service, and motivation to close. Our clients get excited to run into us on the street, join us for dinners or cocktails, and share their baby and/or puppy photos with us. As the Sales & Business Development Manager, we expect our clients to feel the same about you. Actually, we expect you to be our clients’ favorite - even if we get a little jealous at times.
The ideal candidate has:
• Excellent communication skills and leadership experience
• Closing skills and motivation for meeting sales goals
• Prospecting skills and sales planning
• Understanding and developing of budgets
• Ability to work in a high energy environment
• Ambition, strong work ethic, and an openness to new ideas
• Self-starter attitude with problem solving skills
High school degree, Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Ideally 1 or 2 years experience in marketing, sales, or customer service
Excellent planning and organizational skills
Ability to prioritize and multitask
Must be personable, outgoing, and customer service oriented
Basic understanding of video production a plus
This is a remote, commission-only, contract position with opportunity for advancement based on performance. You will make your own schedule and only be required to attend a one-hour meeting once a week in Denver. APPLY BELOW.
